While coding and 21st century skills are necessary, our program also goes beyond code by incorporating robotics and technology with collaborative STEAM activities, nurturing students’ imaginations in ways no other education program can. Sphero Edu provides a toolset that is unbounded in its potential by weaving hardware, software, and community engagement together.
BOLT is approachable yet advanced with more features, more power, and more fun. Long battery life of 2+ hours per charge. An ambient light sensor allows you to program based on your room’s brightness. Auto-aim your robot thanks to the built-in compass. BOLT to BOLT infrared communication allows for new games and advanced movements. The colorful LED matrix is fully programmable. Learn to code by drawing, using Scratch blocks, or writing JavaScript text with the Sphero Edu app. Animals include: Alligator, Bear, Bird, Cat, Chicken, Cow, Dog, Dolphin, Donkey, Duck, Elephant, Frog, Horse, Horse Gallop, Lion, Monkey, Pig, Rooster, Sea Lion, Sheep, Tiger, Whale. In the Animal Toss game, a group of students toss a Sphero and guess a random animal based on sound. If you create in JavaScript, it does not automatically generate a block view. Note: If you create a program with blocks, it will show you the JavaScript. To run programs: Lower Icon Bar / Second Icon ("Programs"). To change color or aim the robot: Lower Icon Bar / Last Icon, Far Right. Designed for learner progression, Sphero Edu beginners can give robots commands by drawing a path in. Go beyond code by incorporating unique STEAM activities to complete with your bot. Sphero Edu is your hub to create, contribute, and learn with Sphero robots. #USING THR SPHERO EDU APP BLUETOOTH#
